Karla was with the Clyde Stangl accounting firm from the first day to the last, when it was acquired by RTO in January 2018. Along with managing the Pierz office, she prepares business and individual tax returns, processes payroll and does monthly accounting work.

After High School, Karla joined the US Army for six years in 1975, and was stationed in Berlin, Germany, behind The Wall during the Cold War. She has interesting stories to share if asked. She is currently a life member of the Randall VFW and the Royalton American Legion. Karla’s love of God and Country runs deep. She used her GI Bill to attend the St. Cloud Business College (Now, Rasmussen College) after her honorable discharge. She was awarded The Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct medal, Berlin Occupation Medal, and was an Expert marksman in the machine gun, 45 pistol, and M-16 rifle, and became the Berlin Brigade Soldier of the Month.

She resides in Genola with her husband, Chuck.  She loves spending time with her two daughters, their husbands, and her grandkids. She loves camping, traveling, photography, scrapbooking and working her flower gardens.
